“ Great dinner Saturday night again. New York strip phenomenal. Front desk friendly. Server Chris probably best server I've had in all times I've been there. Great drinks by the bar after dinner. Thank LaCantina ”
“ Linda's is an old school steakhouse known best by locals, which is how I've come to enjoy it each time in town. Loyal patrons line up at open to get first dibs and an early seating, though a reservation is preferred. The menu is straightforward. Simply a ribeye, loaded baked potato, and salad are all you need to have an amazing meal. The steaks are flavorful and are prepared with a nice tasty, slightly seasoned char on the outside, no matter what your temperature. This is a stand out to me and another reasons the steaks are so flavorful. Special tip: for locals you can even buy uncooked ground beef at a great price (based on availability. Ask your server for details. The dining room is open and a bit old school. It is casual and mostly filled with locals, which is a good sign of value and quality compared to touristy spots or chains. Service is always welcoming and friendly. ”
“ This family steakhouse has been around for good reason, it's excellent!!! I recommend making reservations for a seamless seating and dining experience. The French onion soup is a perfect appetizer. It's savory and wonderfully seasoned. The large steak is shareable and cooked to perfection. It has a perfect char and juiciness that lasts (even the next day as leftovers). The wine selection is decent . I didn't try any desserts either time I dined but it is on my list for next time. The bar area is so intimate and has a great fire pit seating area. I definitely want to sit there just to lounge and enjoy a cocktail. ”
“ We were looking for a good grill that was fairly price and we came to this place first time in Orlando. The wait was about 30 mins on a Sat night but we spent the time waiting at the fountain of fire inside to keep warm. The bar is great and can watch what ever game is going on. The service was very good and food didn't take long to come out. The rolls were really good. They do have some healthier options for sides. The ribeye was very good and fairly priced. All the sides we enjoyed except the beans which was ok. Nothing too special. Would definitely come back and great place to take a friend or date to. ”
“ Everything was so good! There's a wait. I can't remember if they take reservations or not, but if they do, definitely make one. Hubs and I had dinner there on a Friday night, no reservations, was told that there would be about an hour wait. We were fine with it. It was actually like 45 mins. Regardless if it was an hour or 45 mins we were happy to wait. There were quite a few parties waiting to be seated as well. We drive by this place often, really glad we got a chance to check it out. We can see why there's the hype. The food is good-ish. The service is good. However, I'm only giving it 4-stars because we had to wait awhile for our food. Kept asking our waiter if they can check on the food. Was always told, "i'll go check on it, it'll be out shortly." Well... finally our appetizers came out. Yum! Then comes the wait, finally, the manicotti comes out and steak and broccoli comes out. The only that was piping hot was the manicotti. The steak might've been sitting at the pass too long because the broccolli and steak were room temp. Didn't enjoy that too much. Parking can be tight during primetime hours. Service was good for the most part. Food was good for the most part too. Will come back. Eventually. ”
“ A hidden gem! I've driven past this place countless times, and had no idea it had one of the best steaks in Orlando. This cozy, family-oriented restaurant has a warm and familiar vibe, the kind of place where families have been going for decades. The steaks are amazing and come with the perfect layer of crust on the top and are also wrapped in bacon. You can't beat the price. A 12oz steak for $50 at a quality steakhouse is a steal. The reservation system is different, so I'd highly recommend booking as far in advance as possible. You have to text their number with your info, desired date and time, and they'll respond back confirming the reservation. I will note it took them a day to respond, so don't expect an immediate answer. The staff, from the hostesses to our server, were great. This spot is definitely making its way into our regular rotation of favorites! ”
“ Linda's La Catina is a well known steakhouse in Orlando, offering quality cuts at unbeatable prices! On a busy night, the kitchen impressed me with their flavorful French onion soup, perfectly cooked loaded baked potatoes, and flavorful steaks. The only negative regarding food was me and my friend's steak was slightly undercooked. With how busy that night was, service was stretched thin. Our reservation was at 7:00pm for a party of four and we walked out of the restaurant a little past 9:30. Unfortunately, we missed desserts due to the late hour. Minor hiccups aside, I'm eager to return and explore more of Linda's La Catina's menu, making it a recommended spot for steak lovers seeking affordable, high-quality dining! ”
“ I grew up in central Florida and of course, I heard about Linda's only after I moved 1000+ miles away. I kept hearing really good things about Linda's so I was very excited to learn I'd be going during a last-minute trip to Orlando. We went on a Wednesday evening, and the place was pretty busy. We arrived early for our reservation but were seated right away. Our waiter was Geronimo and he was fantastic. We were immediately greeted with water, and shortly after, we placed an order for the coconut shrimp and the onion rings as starters- they came out quickly and were amazing. The shrimp was perfectly crispy and served with a tasty spicy plum sauce. The onion rings were cooked perfectly, and probably the best I've ever had. The house salad was simple, but it too was delicious. I ordered the small filet topped with blue cheese and a side of spaghetti marinara for my entree. The steak was cooked to perfection, and the pasta was incredible-cooked al dente with a sauce that tasted homemade. The menu is pretty straightforward, simple and classic fare, but everything was done absolutely perfectly. Once again, Geronimo was the best. He was personable, friendly, and on top of everything, not just with our table but every table he interacted with. He truly went above and beyond to make our experience amazing. ”
“ Linda's La Cantina has been on my Orlando bucket list FOREVERRR and I truly don't know why it took me so long to finally go. I've heard how much locals love this family-owned steakhouse that has been around since 1947 -- mostly for their quality steaks and great value. It's hard to beat their prices at any steakhouse. We decided to go on a whim, so we did not have a reservation though that is usually recommended. It's a popular spot for large groups, birthdays, celebrations, family gatherings, etc. Luckily the wait was only about 30 min for a table for 2, so we put our name down and cozied up next to their fireplace/fountain in the bar area. Time went by pretty quickly while we looked over the menu. The ambiance is warm, no frills, and straight to the point. Once seated our server poured waters and took our order right away since we were ready to rock. I went with the mini surf & turf dinner which is a 4oz bacon-wrapped filet and choice of 6oz blackened snapper or 6 spicy cajun shrimp, which I opted for the the shrimp and broccoli as my side item. I also upgraded my salad to a bowl of their classic French onion soup. My husband got the small 4oz filet mignon with a fully loaded baked potato (+$2), a house salad, and added a side of the garlic butter mushrooms. They also serve fresh hot bread for the table. The food came out super quick and our steaks were both cooked properly and well-seasoned. The French onion soup was definitely the star for me and I would come back for that alone. You can tell this place operates like a well-oiled machine despite being very busy. We didn't do any dessert because we were absolutely stuffed and ate every last bite... maybe next time. This definitely won't be our last visit to Linda's! All in all, our bill came to about $70 which is pretty good for a date night out these days! ”
